Issvollr
In the northernmost region of the continent of Valikovia is Issvollr. Issvollr is a snow-covered land that seems to stretch forever. Many peaks and icy lakes spread throughout the vast snowscape.
North of the snow-covered mountain range that separates Issvollr from the areas to the south lives the BjornFolk, a bear race that rules over the region.
The Bjornfolk of Issvollr has lived north of the snow-covered mountains for centuries. They have developed a culture reminiscent of their Viking ancestors, with a strong focus on honor and loyalty. They are fierce, and their long history of clashes with Drachenreich to the south is well-known. Their skill in battle is legendary, and they are not afraid of a fight. Though barbaric, they have a strong sense of community and are fiercely loyal to their families. They are hard workers and excellent craftsmen that take great pride in their work.
However, the arrival of a snow monster that the BjornFolk named Frostbite had thrown their world into disarray. The creature has been terrorizing the land and the BjornFolk for many years. The BjornFolk are determined to fight it, and their epic battles have been going on for so long, with the BjornFolk unable to defeat the monster before it returns to hiding within the frozen tundra.
